Web Rangers SA Launches WhatsApp Channel with Digital Literacy Training Guide for Parents

Web Rangers SA is elated to announce the launch of its new WhatsApp channel, designed to provide parents with essential resources and updates on digital literacy. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding children in the digital world by equipping parents with the knowledge and tools they need to protect their children online.

As part of this launch, we are excited to introduce the Digital Literacy Training Guide for Parents. This guide has been carefully crafted to help parents better understand the complexities of online safety and to empower them to support their children as they navigate the digital landscape.

This first edition in a series of guides focuses on privacy—a crucial aspect of online safety. It provides key insights into managing personal information online, and offers practical tips for parents to have open discussions with their children about taking control of the information that is shared about them online. Future editions will explore additional topics related to child online safety, ensuring that parents are well-equipped to address the diverse challenges their children may face in the digital world.

We urge everyone, parents & children to follow the Web Rangers SA WhatsApp channel to access this guide and receive regular updates on digital literacy and online safety resources. By joining this channel, parents will be part of a community dedicated to fostering a safer online environment for our children.
