{"id":1110,"date":"2023-07-18T09:38:57","date_gmt":"2023-07-18T09:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webrangers.co.za\/?p=1110"},"modified":"2023-07-18T09:41:19","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T09:41:19","slug":"entries-for-the-2023-web-rangers-online-training-course-are-now-open-for-sa-children-to-apply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webrangers.co.za\/?p=1110","title":{"rendered":"Entries for the 2023 Web Rangers online training course are now open for SA children to Apply!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>JOHANNESBURG, 17 July 2023<\/strong> &#8211; Media Monitoring Africa (MMA), together with The Department of<br \/>\nCommunications &amp;amp; Digital Technologies, UNICEF South Africa, Google SA, TikTok, Falcorp Technologies,<br \/>\nMeta, and The Walt Disney Company are inviting all SA learners between the ages of 12-17 years to be<br \/>\npart of the 2023 Web Rangers online training intake.<\/p>\n<p>Web Rangers, launched in South Africa in 2016, is an international digital literacy programme designed<br \/>\nto empower young people to become digital citizens who know how to use the internet responsibly and<br \/>\nencourage their peers to do the same!<\/p>\n<p>The digital literacy online training course, enables all South African children between the ages of 12-17<br \/>\nyears old the opportunity to be trained as a Web Ranger from the comfort of their homes, through an<br \/>\nonline training platform. The recruitment process will run from 17 July 2023 until 15 August 2023.
